With a continuous 50+ year tradtion in protecting Mayfield zoning and public spaces,  the Mayfield Improvement Association  remains a strong community organization with good resident participation.  Among it’s good works has been Mayfield’s certification as a  National Historic Neighborhood with tax credits to apply to renovations per this program and the redevelopement of the Curran drive and Lake Montebello  as a popular recreational site for cyclists, runners, walkers and inline skaters.
